The project at St Nicholas provides a resource centre within the redundant church. A new link building connects the church and the Diocesan Offices. The link creates a reception area where staff and visitors can mingle on an informal basis. The building was completed in the spring of 2005, and included substantial renovations to the ancient fabric. The project was "Highly Commended" in the Ipswich Society Awards in 2005.
