In apec's forty year history, we have set our sights on the pursuit of excellence in architecture, underpinned by a strong emphasis on putting our clients' needs first.
Since its formation in 1969, working primarily on ecclesiastical architecture, the practice has developed expertise in a diversity of sectors including church, community, heritage, education and housing.
Experience in historic building conservation, and the reordering of old buildings are areas in which apec has gained a special reputation.
Central to all the work of the practice is the need for a deep understanding of the client's needs. Drawings are merely a means to an end, reflecting the outcome of a creative process evolving through friendly discussion, research and meaningful consultation.
Apec is a limited company with two active directors, Ken Fisher and Naomi Fisher. Both are chartered architects, and Ken is also an Accredited Conservation Architect.
