The Good Shepherd Church | Dalle-de-Verre Artist Tender

The Church of the Good Shepherd (3 Thackeray’s Lane, Woodthorpe, Nottingham, NG5 4HT, England) is a Grade II* listed catholic church, designed by Gerard Goalen and completed in 1964. Within the main worship space are large panels of dalle-de-verre stained glass, designed by Patrick Reyntiens. There are also 12 sections of plain glass mullions, which, due to a slightly different design with concrete cross bars, have deteriorated over time.

Working with Historic England, the Good Shepherd is exploring the possibility of replacing these faulty plain glass concrete mullions with dalle-de-verre panels, which complement the existing DDV stained glass in the church, as shown in the photographs.
