The Reusers is one of several social enterprises established and run by the Jericho Foundation. They resell unwanted items that are donated by the general public. The scheme has been so successful there is no longer enough space to store and resell all of the donations received. The ReUsers were successful in their bid for Awards for All funding to consider strategic options for improvements to the layout and quality of the existing buildings. We have been working closely with Jericho to understand the processes involved in sorting, storing and selling all the various items, from bikes to porcelain cats, and translating these into diagrams that will inform the spatial planning.

I have worked with APEC Architects for over 10 years… They are, of course, great architects who provide a high quality, value for money, professional architectural design and project management service to their customers. However, what really sets them apart from their peers is their in-depth knowledge of the third sector and the communities we serve. In addition to their technical skills, the team at APEC bring a wealth of creative, strategic thinking, community engagement and fundraising expertise to their projects. They are also helpful, friendly, fun to work with, and hugely committed to meeting the goals and aspirations of their third sector and community based clients, for our often very limited budgets.
