These almshouses were a safe haven for vulnerable women in the 1800s. Now they help to transform the lives of young homeless people.

We worked with Trident to renovate and alter these Grade II Listed former almhouses. The cottages used to consist of single person bed-sit rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. We wanted to give each resident more privacy and a sense of ownership, so we designed a series of one and two person self-contained apartments.
