We’re so proud of Mary for completing her Masters at Birmingham School of Architecture and Design, and very excited to have her back in the APEC team.  She has been busy developing her skills in community engagement and hand drawing throughout her course, so we can’t wait to see her in action!

During my Masters, I enjoyed exploring participatory and collaborative approaches to architecture and working with local community groups on live projects. I favour more traditional methods of hand-drawings and physical model making, and I’ve developed these skills over the five years spent at university. I had the opportunity to travel to Gibraltar to exhibit my final year work. During this visit, I explored the abandoned tunnels in the rock and appeared on the front page of the Gibraltar Chronicle.
